A hero is someone you admire, but don't necessarily want to be like. A role model is someone you respect and want to emulate. A hero is a man or woman admired for his achievements and noble qualities. One that shows great courage.
A role model is someone who behaves properly in all aspects of
his or her life. Someone who would be a good example to his peers, his children,
or younger people . A role model is someone worthy of imitation .

My hero is Terry Fox .


I chose him to be my hero because it represents bravery and courage . He is considered one of the greatest Canadian hero for his fight against cancer and despite his artificial leg he participated in a marathon.

Heroes are more courageous and reckless than role models because heroes have impact on us, in our memories and in the time. The qualities of a hero as opposed to a role model are to be brave, recklessness and to be strong as physically as mentally.

My hero is Nelson Mandela.

I chose him to be my hero because he’s a man who did many things for South Africa and the racism generally.

He affects my life because he’s stayed in minds of many people and I think he’s a great man.

Heroes it's like superman or spierdman, they save lives and they have a super powers. They are not part of reality. Role models someone copied it, we dress the same, we did the same thing, we try to be like him, it's a person you want to look like, be like him.

My hero is Shaun White, it's an American snowboarder and skateboarder but is also a role models for me.

Because I am a snowboarder and is a model for me because he is very talented, I try to replicate what he did in snowboard

I chose her to be my role model because she's my favourite singer and actress. I think her voice fabulous and she plays verry wel her roles in her films. She's the most beautiful young artist and she's relly funny, nice and generous. Althought she's a singer and an actress, she continues her studies ans I think it's extraordinary,

My role model is Olivia Palermo.

I have chosen Olivia Palermo because she is a very elegant girl and she has shown that although her family is rich, she has studied to get that they wanted.

Role model:

The difference is that a hero keeps his identity secret, however a model would be a person who inspires you something also hero usually has powers that no one has instead a more realistic model has features and more attainable for all.
They motivate us to do things beyond our reach and be more competitive.

My role model is my father because he has had a very hard childhood, however he hasbeen able to get ahead with my family and always he gives me good tips.

My role model is Marilyn Monroe. I chose her, because I love music, fashion, photography and cinema, and I think she is the typical symbol of all these things. She was a great actress and the most famous actress in Hollywood. She sang a lot of songs like a I Wanna Be In Loved By You´´ and Diamonds Are A Girls Best Friend´´ and she created a fashion style, with her blond hair and her white dress. She was a face of many magazines in her time.

She affects my life because she is an inspiration in my hobbies and she is an inspiration in my favourite’s works. She had a style in all these aspects. When we think in old American’s cinema, we remember Marylin Monroe like a superstar.

I think the differences between heroes and role models are that the heroes are persons who save lives. In other hand, the role models are examples to continue your ideas of your life.

I see the difference between a hero and a role model is that the characteristics of a model are more realistic, are more to our reach and because they like our style. And heroes are characteristics that impress us and we like but do not always identify with them.

The qualities of a hero are qualities that impress us more and are more difficult to achieve.

My role model is cristiano ronaldo because it is a person who has had a difficult childhood but has struggled to achieve his dream, he was playing football and finally succeeded. I think that a hero was a normal person that gets an achievement, and then he becomes famous. But a role model, I see it like a person who you knows personally and admire, but he isn't famous.

Role models and heroes play an important part in all of our lives. As a boy, my heroes wore colorful outfits and fought bad guys and aliens whose sole purpose was to destroy civilization and rule the world, not caring who they hurt in the process. Spider-Man, Batman, Superman, The X-Men, these were my heroes. But I also had certain adults in my life who guided me and took care of me - my parents, my older sister, teachers, and coaches - and earned my admiration and respect.

As I grew older, my opinions changed, and as I was introduced to a variety of historical figures - George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, Albert Einstein, Don "Mr. Wizard" Herbert - I gained new heroes and role models, whose ideals I still strive to uphold til this very day. During my time in college, while pursuing my Master's degree, I came across the life of Geoffrey Canada, through his book Fist, Stick, Knife, Gun. Growing up in the South Bronx, during the 50s, with a single mother to guide him, Geoffrey fought to prove himself, eventually attending Harvard University, and, eventually, opened and ran the Harlem Children's Zone in the 1990s.

Geoffrey Canada's passion and dedication have always inspired me to be the BEST teacher I can. Geoffrey Canada is a real life superhero. He has devoted his life to state education and to raising standards for learning.

Every person has had a role model in their life. Whether from their parents to an emerging movie star, every person has had someone to look up to. Someone to try and imitate, somebody who shows them how to live. In my case, my role model is my grandmother. I chose her because of her wonderful personality. My grandma is not the average grandmother- that is; she gets up at five in the morning to swim and works at a job while she is in her mid-seventies. However, the thing that I most admire about her is her kindness and selflessness, as well as a sense of perseverance. She always is thinking about others, especially family and friends. She is also determined to move and exercise, even though it must be difficult. I also admire the fact that wherever she goes, she has friends who adore her. I need to learn that skill, to make friends and not get them upset. Though my grandmother is not well known, she is truly a role model for me, and I strive to be as kind, determined, and disciplined as her.



My Hero By Halee S

There are many important people in my life you could call them hero’s but there is one very important hero in my life her name is Alexa Bebe, my dance teacher. This woman has pushed me so hard to be the best I can be and got me to where I am now, to go to competitions all around California. She is also a very kind and considerate person and cares for every one even the kids on the dance team. For instance, there is this girl on my team who has a brain tumor and she was in the hospital for a long time. Alexa’s old studio where she used to dance was having a nonprofit competition where they gave scholarship money for whoever won, so Alexa tried her hardest to get all the other teachers to dance with her. She danced her heart out for Rosin and they ended up winning the competition. So when Rosin had to go back in the hospital Alexa used the scholarship money to pay for Rosin’s operation and that just completely melted my heart. She has inspired me so much and she has been an amazing teacher and a great friend.

A role model is someone who you look up to, someone who inspires you. This person for me is Misty May Treanor. Misty May is a professional beach volleyball player who has been in the summer Olympics since 2009. She plays with her partner Kerri Walsh and previously has won a gold medal. Misty May inspires me because during the 2012 summer Olympics, she was almost positive that she wouldn’t be playing in the Olympics and has retired. But a couple weeks before the deadline, she signed up for her country and for one last shot at the gold. She shows me that if you push yourself, you can achieve the impossible. Also, she inspires me to never give up. She is a role model for lots of people around the world.

At the age of twelve she discovered she had a severe disease that might not be curable. She pushed through and has overcome it. Everyone has a role model; one of my role model is my mom. Why did I choose her, because she encourages me to do stuff that I have never done before. My role model is keiloni Wright on my cheer team. Keiloni is the funniest, sweetest most amazing athlete! She has so many great skills and I look up to her for being the amazing person she is. She helps me reach my skills and I encourage her when she is trying to get new tumbling. Keiloni is my base and catches me if I fall every time. Heroes are not just celebrities, or athletes. They can be average people that you see on the street. A lot of the deeds people do have been unseen and unheard. If I had to choose a remodel it would be my mom. My mom does not just do good deeds; she helps people and makes everything fair. My mom has volunteered at the Harvest Food Drive. For me, my father is my hero. My Perfect Role Model

My dad is the perfect role model. The first thing that makes my dad so special is the things that he does for me, and the amount of time that he spends with me. This is one of the most important parts of the things that really make a dad important to someone else. There are a plethora of things that my dad does for me, but the most important things that he does for me, or at least what I think are the most important things that he does for me are how every day he takes me to school, then back home once school ends, then to one of the practices for the various sports that I play, then back home for the second time with me, and that is just part of his very long day. The next thing that he does for me and my entire family is going to work, so we can get money to live in a house, and eat three meals a day. The final thing that he does for me is being a coach on most of the teams that I play on, so every day when I have practices, he takes his own time to come to my practices, and help me become a better all-around sports player. One of the other things that make my life better is the amount of time that my dad spends with me every single day when he comes home from work. The one thing that I think about when I come home from school is, “What will my dad ask me to do when I walk into the house?”, and every day when I come home, he always finds a way to make me happy, and also something to do. And that is just one of the very many reasons that make my dad is the perfect role model to me.


Someone Inspiring

I am inspired by a lot of people, but there is one person who I aspire to be the most. My cousin Kevin was in the military and fought for our country, not oil. He faced many hardships in Afghanistan, including his best friend being killed by an Improvised Explosive Device (otherwise known as an IED, or a roadside bomb). He had push through this and other things such as burying the remains of people killed in an explosion, spending time away from his family, and the horrors of war. There were good things as well, such as meeting new friends amongst the locals and his fellow soldiers. We sent him care packages from time to time, and in second grade my class wrote letters to him. In second grade, while he was on leave, he visited our class and showed let us try on his vest and helmet. Currently he is no longer in the military, with a wife and child, but he is still a hero to all of us.

My role model is my grandfather. My grandfather is truly something, kind, loving, forgiving, humorous, and great in every way. Born during pre-WWII, he started his first job when he was 10, later volunteering for the navy during World War II. Afterwards, he worked to support his family while taking night classes in college until he got his PhD. He then worked for several important pharmaceutical companies, such as Alcon and Roche, making some chemical compounds which are used today. I always think of him highly, for his extensive knowledge is something that every child should want. My grandfather loves me with all his heart, makes sure to make me happy, tries hard to help me, and makes my life wonderful. I love him for so many reasons, but when they all add up, they make one awesome grandfather.

Role models are people that inspire you. They make you keep going when you want to quit, and they give you hope in the darkest of times. My role model is my mother. My mother had everything that could have gone wrong happen, and yet she still came out with a successful life and she is a great mother to me. She was born with ADHD, and her parents divorced when she was a teenager. She was deeply affected by this and her grades quickly fell, getting her expelled from college. However, when she saw how sad her mother and my grandmother became, she immediately decided to straighten out her life. She went to a different college, went to law school, became a lawyer, and had a prosperous career. She retired when I was born so she could look after me, and I am immensely grateful towards her. She will always be my hero no matter what. That is why she is my role model.

There is a long list of people who I think are great and inspire me. But Honestly I think my younger brother Kai is a role model and inspirational to me. My little brother always cares the best for everyone and he helps out in any way he can. My brother always tries to do what’s right and he inspires me to do a lot of the stuff that I do today.
